DoggoneKnits came from standing in a pet store with my dog, going "doggoneknit" as I realized that the ready made sweaters were either way too short or way too wide for my dog, Mocha, a dachshund-chihuahua hybrid (see picture up top and on the right). Even worse, they were made out of "dry clean only" wool - The idea of having my dog's sweater dry-cleaned was ludicrous, so I started knitting... Doggoneknits are the result: 
These sweaters are made to fit your dog - without them falling out of the top, or hanging out of the back! Available in the color of your choice, hand knit in acrylic yarn (typically made out of recycled plastic water bottles) that is machine washable (easy for you, non-itchy for your dog). Each sweater features a roll neck - perfect to pull up on windy days. Sweaters are sleeveless, making them fast to get on and off, and letting your dog run without tripping.
